Hello and welcome to Your Best Page Forward! My name is Jess and I'm a web designer/programmer, graphic designer and writer in Asheville, NC. My goal is to provide affordable web and print graphic design to anyone wanting to maximize their presence and potential for success. I believe anyone can do anything with the right support. My Design Experience
My work with web and graphic design began when I was 13 after I got my first computer (a Gateway PC with Windows 3.1). Quickly I decided that I wanted to make my own custom graphics for my sites. One copy of Paint Shop Pro later, I discovered a latent talent for image editing and arrangement. I've since upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CS3.
My first print design experience came in Fall 2002 when I applied for and was awarded the job of Editor of a college literary magazine. It was a beautiful combination of two of my passions: graphic design and writing. As Editor I gained valuable experience with Adobe Pagemaker, which I've since replaced with Adobe InDesign CS3. Since my editor job, I've spent the past six years designing catalogs and various other print materials for my family's business (see the Portfolio page for samples).
